Hey guys, my new iMac 24" should be arriving in the next few days.
It'll be my first, so I need to know a thing or two.

First thing I can think about now is this:
I have an external NTFS 250gb USB hard drive I've been using with my PC for about 9 months and it has all my music and everything on it.
Will it work to simply plug it into the mac and copy everything over? (Not write, I've heard Macs can't write on NTFS anyway)

Thanks,
J6hn

You can't natively write to NFTS, though can you get software that will allow you to do that, if you so wish.

You should be able to just plug it in and copy, I can't really see why you wouldn't.
