Assuming that your script is loaded into the script editor and you've tested to make sure it is working properly choose either Save, Save As, or Export. Which command you have available will depend upon whether the script has been saved previously and the OS version. I believe 10.o9 still gives you Save As as one option but all three commands work the same way.
When the Save dialog appears name the script and choose where you want to save it. In the dropdown menu just below filename choose "Application".
I like to save one version of the script as a script file and one as an application. That way I can easily make changes to the code without finding the application version and decompiling it.
