My mail provider is gmail but I use the Apple mail client App. Often when I reply to an email I find that many - a dozen or more - copies of my sent email end up in my Trash folder. My reply email gets sent OK. Can anyone explain this and what I have to do to stop it.
Thank you.

It has been my experience that Apple Mail and gMail do not play well together. It might be worth checking your gmail settings at the gmail site for Apple Mail are correct and we need to know what version of Mail you are using. See Mail Menu > About Mail that will show the version number.
