I currently use the family PC desktop for my computer needs. I am going to purchase a computer within the month and I have been leaning towards the Macbook pro. My biggest draw is that I have never met a person who owned a Mac, let alone any Apple product, that they had issues with.

I only use the computer for internet browsing/shopping and downloading music. I have my eye on the Macbook Pro 13", 2.3 GHz i5, 4gb RAM and 320 GB hard drive (Basically the stock MBP on Apple.com)

Is there anything you recommend switching to or upgrading? Thanks!

The entry level 13" MacBook Pro is a good choice. It's competitively priced and can be upgraded later on with more memory or a larger hard drive if need be. Both are do it yourself easy upgrades.
