I have a 2018 MacBook Air with the latest upgrades. Is there a way to share my entire contact list with my wife's MacBook?

Simple. Open Contacts, File->Exports->Contacts Archive from one machine and File->Import on another.

You can select all the contacts, then go to File, then select Export > Export vCard. You can save it where you want, and send it to her in a text or email.

Another way to do it is if you both have the same Apple ID and connect to iCloud and select contacts. The contacts from your device will then automatically populate on your wife's MacBook.
