Contact pictures not syncing in Address Book & iPhone

On my iPhone, when I assign a pic to a contact it shows up fine. But when I connect and sync to my MBP, their pic does not show up. The same thing happens when I add a pic to a contact through Address Book on my MBP, then sync my iPhone, it does not transfer. Any ideas as to what's up?!

OK, well after restarting my iPhone the pictures are showing in my contacts list just fine. On my MBP, however, no such luck.

I sometimes experience the same problem, I will add a new contact to address book, the iphone will then sync but wont appear in my contacts on the phone. If i disconnect, re connect then manually sync the contacts - that usually does the trick

Have not seen this issue using MobileMe. I assume neither of you are using it?

I am not using mobileme... yet. I have just bought a macbook so I am looking into the best options to keep everything in sync without too much hassle

One problem I have experienced with 3 iphone is the "awake" button or "home" button I should say fails to awake the phone sometimes. So it plays dead. Only way to wake it up is by plugging it in to something, I then have to turn it off and on to make sure it stops doing it - very odd!
