Do you have a problem with an existing broadband setup, or do you need to create something from scratch.
If you have an existing setup, I'd first ask:
- Are you getting broadband connectivity in OSX?
- Are all your network adapter drivers up to date?
- Do you have a network setup, or do you connect direct to your modem?
- If you have a network, what kind is it (wired / wireless)?
- Can you connect to your router??
If you're looking to start from scratch, I'd suggest:
- Calling your cable company and signing up for broadband Internet service. (≈ $25/mo)
- Connect their modem, when it arrives, to your cable outlet.
- Buy a wireless router from Radio Shack, or an Airport station from Apple.
- Connect that wireless router to the modem.
- Configure wireless router following the manufacturer's instructions.
- Then lay back on your sofa, and surf the net with speed on your MB.
I hope this helps...
