Hi. This is my first post on Mac Forums so please forgive me if I don't get it right.

Please give me some assistance on the following:
I have a Mac Mini which I bought second hand.
I have a second hand LG screen which came with no instructions.
I would like to use the them together. The screen has a DVI socket which is pictured in the second attachment to this post.
I have bought a Mini DisplayPort to DVI adapter. It has a thunderbolt plug at one end and a DVI socket at the other end which is pictured in the first attachment.
The connector on the adaptor has more places for pins to go. I am not attempting to have sound through the screen.
I am unsure as to which cable to plug into the adapter to connect to the DVI socket on my screen.
