I need to access some very old archives on Iomega disks. I have pulled an internal Iomega drive Z250ATAPI from a defunct G3. I want to know if I can connect it in any way to my Mac Pro...preferably via USB or Firewire. Any ideas? Thanks!
One way you can hook the iOmega drive to your Mac Pro is by using an all in one adapter. I currently keep one on hand; it's a CoolMax All in One multifunctional converter. Link
I purchased mine at Fry's electronics here in Dallas but you can order one direct on line at the link I provided above. The converter will allow the iOmega drive ATAPI IDE connector to adapt to USB which in turn can be hooked to your Mac Pro.
