my wife is doing a greetings card in PM and she says that there were coloured pencils that showed at the bottom of the page now she says they have disappeared can anyone tell me were these pencils came from and how to get them back please

PM? Any app that supports text input will have a Show Colors option. For example in Text Edit it’s Format / Font / Show Colors. Note that there are a few colour options in the form of icons in the colour window’s toolbar, of which the coloured pencils is one.

And most similar cases if it's a decent macOS supported applications, they will have a help menu and just entering the phrase of your question ie "colours" or "Pencil colours" should produce an index with Topix that cover the phrase topics.

For your situation, I also do not understand what application "PM" represents. Is your keyboard on a diet and unable to type the complete name? 😊 🥳

I think he’s talking about the coloured pencil option in the Show Colors menu option? See my reply above..

If so, any decent Mac software application should include such information in the application's Help section.

Just saying and pointing out an area to check out that many seem to forget about when help regarding the software application is needed.
