I prefer Coke out of the two. Otherwise I try to avoid pop.

Although I do like Fresca. :)

You forgot both! I drink either, don't taste much of a difference. I can't stand diet. I will eat or drink anything good for me that I like the taste of, but never could get used to diet soda or any artificial sweeteners.

Coke. I especially like Passover in this area as we get Kosher Coke - the REAL thing made with sugar. ^_^

Absolutely. I really try to avoid artificial sweeteners if I can. They're not healthy for you.

Yes, pop made with real sugar is so much better. I know a guy I worked with who would import it from Mexico just to get it made with real sugar.

One good side effect of the ethanol craze is that as corn prices rise manufacturers are starting to look at sugar again instead of corn syrup. Most people assume sugar is bad for you (and too much is) but it's really corn syrup that packs way more calories than sugar in the same amount.

Coke! It tastes better (I know, totally subjective assessment) and it plays better with others. ;-)

Coke, if I drank traditional cola. I prefer sodas made with fruit juice.

If anyone is interested in the dangers of aspartame, check out the documentary "Sweet Misery."

Its true that sodas made with real sugar taste so much better. I had a first hand encounter in the Philippines and I was amazed.

What you'll notice (usually) is that most restaurants will serve Pepsi instead of Coke (at least here in Canada.) My theory is that Pepsi has a lighter taste that goes well with dinner. Coke has a hard bite that would fit with junk food and pizza. I prefer coke but if I am going to have dinner I would expect to hear "is Pepsi ok?" and that's fine with me.

Actually it probably has nothing to do with what it tastes like. It has all to do with preferred pricing and kickbacks that venues get for choosing one over the other. It's about business, not preference.

Coke.. Red is better than blue, Pepsi goes flat as soon as you open it. It's not as crisp tasting and I find Pepsi tastes sweeter than Coke.

I like both. Diet Pepsi or Diet Coke. I never had the real sugar ones yet. They sell them around here in the bottles that are imported from Mexico. Maybe I will taste one of those soon. :)

It's completly opposite here. Lots of places here serve Coke in the restraunts and fast-food.

Well thanks for raining on my parade ;)

and yes I do know that, I was half kidding... but I do think it's true even if the restaurant companies don't think about it. Pepsi does go better with dinner :)
