No doubt in my mind I'm gonna have to go with PEPSI coke is too carbonated and just tastes "rough". Also I only drink diet soda and coke's diet soda tastes TERRIBLE

Plus NOTHING beats a freezing cold Diet Cherry Pepsi!

Coke because it is orginal. Also, their advertising is leaps and bounds above Pepsi's (which consists of telling people how much better Pepsi is).

I vote for Dr. Skippy (generic brand Dr. Pepper), and Mountain Mist!
I voted Pepsi, because I don't like the way Coke does business. I won't get into details. But I have to say, I am a sucker for Cherry Coke Zero.

Wow, I'm surprised this forum has gotten as far as it has in the coke/pepsi debate without any flamethrowing. I mean, look at the Canadians in South Park. Their nation was "ravaged" by the cola wars. It's really a testament to this forum that we can have intelligent debate on as touchy a subject as cola. This is what makes Mac-Forums such a fun place to be.

I prefer Pepsi because it doesn't seem as strong or sweet. But I can drink both and usually can't even tell the diff.

Pepsi. I like regular Pepsi more than Coke, although I have the occasional Coke urge. I also drink diet soda quite a bit, and Diet Pepsi is BY FAR better than Diet Coke.

That being said, I'm trying to cut back on my soda, and I haven't had any in almost a week... which is somewhat of an accomplishment :)

I said "soda" twice... we should have a Soda vs. Pop vs. Coke vs. Whatever poll :p

thats why i said in the first post, if you dont drink either, pick one based on the adverts or colour or something like that

In that case, I'll vote for Pepsi only because they make Mountain Dew :bone:

We should have a third option: Neither

If you knew what Coke and Pepsi do to your system, you'd stay far away from them too. :biohazard

chalk up another neither.

Is this a joke, sorry really not sure about this - can you actually buy flavoured Pepsi?

I've seen Coke, Diet Coke, Caffeine free coke, Coke Zero, Cherry Coke, Diet Coke with Lemon, Diet Coke with Lime, Diet Coke with Vanilla - all made by the Coca-Cola company.

From Pepsi, all I've seen is Pepsi, Pepsi Max, Diet Pepsi - that's it.

Coke all the way. Pepsi is too sweet and doesn't have enough carbonation. It tastes flat to me.

Pepsi has made a lot of flavored versions.

Coke or Pepsi?

I've always preferred Coke, I think it tastes less sugary than Pepsi.
