Changing Safari colour themes

I find the colour differentiation between the current tab and other tabs in Safari is barely discernible. The current tab is a light gray shade, and the other tabs are just a slightly darker shade of grey. (refer attached screenshot)

I downloaded and installed SafariStand, hoping that changing themes would help. But I can't get the program to work.

Any help out there?
