Changing opening sound?

Hi all, new to the forum. I was hoping someone knew how to change the opening sound when you first turn on the computer? Any web links or hints/tips would be greatly appreciated.

The sound is built into the firmware of the computer. It can't be altered and is there to tell you that the computer is passing the start up tests
