- We don't know if you're talking about the computers internal disk drive or an external disk drive.
- We don't know the exact specs of your computer.
- We don't know what OS version it's running.
- We don't know if you're using the proper/compatible blank disks.
The main point is. You have not given us enough information to be able understand the situation.
Hello Margaret. - glad that you found a solution, but you might want to still provide the information requested by Nick - without knowing the type or age of your computer, OS X installed, and the optical drive (i.e. internal or external), then difficult to know if this is just an isolated issue or whether you will continue to have problems?
If you do have an older computer w/ a built-in optical unit that 'fails' in the near future, then an external drive is an inexpensive option and a consideration. Good luck - Dave
