Can't get wikipedia on my iMac, or facebook, but can on my phone

Hi guys -- I can't seem to get Wikipedia on my MB pro. I can get it on my phone, but not my computer. This is just today, it seems. Is anyone else having this problem, and any idea what it might be? Haven't changed anything in the computer to cause this. I get a message saying this connection isn't private, but there's no link to continue to wikipedia.

same for facebook. Will not work in either Brave or Safari.

Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp are down right now. Depending on where you are, Wikipedia might be as well. If you are on the same WiFi (network) on the iPhone and MBP, then both will either work or fail. If you are on cellular on the iPhone, it's going through a different network and you might get different results.

As of 10.00pm (GMT + 1) FB and WhatsApp still down. Wikipedia normal. This is in the UK.

I don't use Instagram, can't comment.
