Ok so I reintalled Leopard upgrade on my Macbook Pro. Now it won't let me past the log in screen. I am pretty sure I remember my user name and definitely remember my password.
One thing is though, I left it installing all night and when I came back to it in the morning it said 43 minutes remaining. I took out the disc thinking it would just go back to Tiger automatically but instead it comes up with the Leopard log in screen.
I would in reality just prefer to go back to Tiger and buy a new upgrade. How can I do this, please help me I am becoming very very frustrated.
Thankyou in anticipation of some help.

You should try installing Leopard again. Is it a retail DVD (black and purple with black and silver X across the face)? If it isn't it can't work.
You can't go back to Tiger without the original DVD - do you have that?

It is a genuine Leopard upgrade as you described. Got it from Apple as a freebie because I bought my Laptop just as Leopard came out. I have both the install DVDs for Tiger and truthfully would prefer to back to that and buy another upgrade so it is brand new. How do i go about getting back to Tiger. Thanks.

Can someone please please help me with this? It's driving me insane. I really need to get my Macbook up and running, I have work to do on it. As I said everything I have for it is genuine and legal. All I want to do is get back to Tiger and then buy a new upgrade.
I am putting in the original install disc number one and holding down the c key as advised but all that happens is that it goes to what seems to be the Leopard log in screen and then type cccccccccccccccccccccccc in. Nothing after that. Please can someone give me a hand out here? Thanks in anticipation.
