Cant download Second Life Viewer for Macbook pro

Hi

I've just bought a macbook pro 2.7 GhZ Intel Core i7 4GB RAM but I cannot load the Second Life viewer onto it..it keeps saying check your internet connection or the SL grid may be down( neither of which is actually the problem)

I have downloaded 4 other viewers and still no good...has anyone any help / advice please????????????

Do a search - I think I saw something about deleting something in ~/Library/Application Support/SecondLife to fix this problem. Don't remember where, sorry.

I use Phoenix Viewer and the Second Life viewer with no problems.
