Can't delete bootcamp partition after failed install attempt

Hey guys,

I attempted to install windows 10 via bootcamp and everything was going smoothly up until during the reboot stage where I needed to choose the bootcamp disk. This was at the windows installation stage. I was not able to get past this part. I even chose 'format' bootcamp partition and continue but that did not work. From there I deleted the bootcamp partition and attempted to a 'create new' but nothing. So I gave up and rebooted back into OSX. I want to erase the bootcamp partition and start from scratch again but I can't seem to be able to do it. Normally do this in macOS Sierra I go to Disk Utility/Fusion Drive and then Partition Device, highlight the Partition I want to erase or merge back into the original partition and select the '-' (minus) but that is greyed out and you can see from the picture..

I have everything backed up and as far as I know from googling I need to use terminal to resolve this by erasing and merging the partitions again but I am not exactly sure how to. I have also attached a picture here of my computers details from terminal if anyone can guild me on what to do that would be great. Thanks

To add to this I have attempted to delete the smallest partition you can see in the image, or at least merge it with the large one and now I'm stuck on "shrinking the file system" which could last hours.. This is so frustrating

The proper way to delete the Boot Camp partition is to use the Boot Camp Assistant not Disk Utility. Fusion drives are problematic as it is and in your situation you may have to erase and start over. Hopefully your backup is good and can restore everything.

I don't care if I need to erase everything and start over but I'm not sure how to, I seem to be only able to address the main partition and the boot camp one has now become untouchable for some reason

As long as you have everything backed up, go ahead and do a clean erase of the entire drive. If it's a fusion drive you may have problems getting it fused together again so be sure to read up on how to do it first. Apple has some articles on fusion drives and there are lots of threads in various forums about them and the same troubles you're dealing with.
