I bought a used iMac 2008 and was deleting the other user. I think I deleted his stuff about 4 days ago. It won't let me close my system preferences because it says that it's still deleting the user. Do you know how long this normally takes or do I force close it? I guess I am not as tech savvy as I once thought that I was. So new to the iMac.

You need to purchase Snow Lropard OS X.6 from Apple Online and do a clean erase and install to set the computer up in your name.
