Canon HF200 and imovie 10 compatability

Does anyone know if this camera can import directly into current version of imovie on OSX Yosemite? It is not on the supported camera list. I also need to know if the G20 will import directly. I don't want to buy converter software if I can avoid it. Just want to make an easy transfer from either camera directly into imovie like I could in imovie 09. Thanks for your help,
