Hey, I'm quite tech savvy but honestly I've encountered a problem that I couldn't even fix. I used Bootcamp to run Windows 7 on my Mac and everything had went well until I ran windows and could not find Bootcamp.

I used a USB to run Windows and when I plug it in, all I see are just a bunch of useless files that have some relation to Bootcamp but I have No clue what they are and they sure as **** are not Bootcamp. I can't go back to Mac or connect to the Internet without Bootcamp so Id really appreciate some help.

I'm running a 13' MacBook Pro Mid 2012.

Thanks in advance.

G'day and welcome to the forums.

Do you mean you used BootCamp to set up Windows 7 on an external USB hard drive?

Microsoft does not allow use of an external drive - must be on the internal. Part of their so called 'anti-piracy' measures.
