Mic is Shure MV88+ fitted with a USB to lightning cable. It has been working for several years, but has failed after the latest upgrade. Is there a fix or work around?

I have the MV88 with direct lightning connector, but I think the same solution may help. I have to open the Shure app first, then turn on the mic there, and then open whatever app I want to use with the mic. The Shure app is called MOTIV Audio.

EDIT: And welcome to the forum!

A minor point, perhaps; but you should consider updating to the latest iOS which is 16.3.1 - a modestly significant update from your 16.1

I'm not suggesting that this would solve your present difficulty, but each of the updates have had significant security updates.
