Yep - iTunes needs your Apple ID and password if you're buying anything.

The answer is yes and no.
No, it is not going to auto fill your login details into an application - iTunes, Steam, WoW, etc.
Yes, it will remember any passwords that you store in 1Password, so you have an easy enough copy and paste from 1 Password to any apps that require logins.

Ah, yes. I'm so used to AppStore I forget iTunes has store too.
Although I mostly use AppStore for updates. I'd rather get my apps from the developers.

So would I, however, the same app sold in the Mac App store guarantees that you will get updates for free. That does not always hold true from the developer.

True, BUT, Apps like SmileSoftware's TextExpander loses some functionality and features, due too the Sandboxing Apple does in the Mac App Store.
I now have to have the Mac App Store version and the Companies site version on my Mac, to get the latter to work. (so the Site .v can read the signed certificate of the Mac App Store version)
This is one thing that gets my goat on, even though I do know why Apple does it. :'(:'(

Unless you want to downgrade to RoboForm6, I would do as they said in the 2nd part of the post, and download 1Password, then get the browser Extension for your browser, then log into sites with RoboForm and then when you do, 1Password will pop up asking to save the logins.

If you have a lot of other Data, then unless you drop to RF6, you will have to manually transfer the data.

That's sort of creepy that Roboform would do something like that to lock it's customers in after all this time. Glad I switched back before Roboform had a Mac version available.
