Annoying Problem <<this is my previous thread, to a problem that is not going anyway. I constantly am getting the confirmation shutdown-popup, "Are you sure you want to shutdown your computer now?"

It's absolutely driving me insane. I thank everybody who posted earlier, but nothing has cleared this issue. I even have my computer startup @ 3am, and shutdown before I get to work around 7am'ish.

Anyway, is there a way to disable the confirmation shutdown popup? Maybe this will correct my problem, and whatever it's doing it will just grind away, so that I may work, instead of C O N S T A N T L Y having to his cancel!

I would assume if you disable the shutdown popup it would just shutdown with out asking. Like holding in the option key when you select apple menu shutdown.

When the popup occurs again open up Activity Monitor and check for suspect processes. If you are not familiar with shiffing out suspect processes you can do a File>Save to a process log and post that.
