Camera not working on Macbook Pro

Recently, part of my headphones broke off when I pulled them out of my headphone jack. Ever since then I cannot hear anything so I think the tip of the headphones is stuck inside the tiny hole. And I'm not quite sure why but now when I try to Skype, Video Chat or use Facebook video chatting I can see the person I'm doing it with but they cannot see me. My green light goes on next to the camera but the person I'm attempting to Video chat with can only hear me not see me. I don't know if these two problems are related but it is getting pretty annoying and I don't know how to fix it

There a dozens of past posts about a headphone plug tip breaking off in the jack and how to remove it. Do a forum search and try what they suggest.
