Hi, I saw an iphone 14+ on my local Facebook marketplace. It's serial number seems clear, but it's got Apple warranty. The owner has signed out of it so there's no icloud on it. Should I get it? It's $700

Well....... it's really up to you. The serial number is easy to verify; the previous owner has removed their ownership; and there's still some warranty left for you or anybody.

I can't comment on the price. That's up to you.

BTW, do you know the storage capacity? That's always an important aspect that I look for.

The phone only has the default 1 year AppleCare warranty. The owner didn't purchase the additional 2 years to get 3 full years of coverage. So you don't have as much coverage as you think.

It's odd that they would purchase a $930 device in June and then 3 months later sell it off that quickly. That's a barely used phone, that's definitely a red flag for me.

If you're going to spend $700 on this phone, just put another $200 and get the phone brand new from your carrier or Apple. You can then get the AppleCare as well.

This is a bad deal.
