I live in a college that runs a windows network. I have recently connected an iMac G3 to it. I can see the other computers OK, but I can't see the names of most of them, instead, I get names like "PC 108-39" where it should say the name of the computer, as it does in Network Neighbourhood.
What I want to know is, is there a way I can browse the network, seeing the computer's names, without having to 'mount' the drive (and type my password) EVERY time I want to view a folder. Has someone written a program that allows you to do this on a Mac or do I have my settings wrong?
