Hello,

Have the small Brother ($ 100) B&W printer, a HL-L2300D
Really a nice product for the money, but-

Even though I have it set to print a single page, or perhaps a single copy of a few pages, it just
cranks out half a dozen of whatever it should be printing singularly.

Looked at all the settings, and they all seem to be set for "1" or "single"

Seems like something in the memory is perhaps carried over from a very long time age, and not being cleared when I (now) only want a single copy.

The Brother website is pathetic in trying to find any help.

If anyone has any thoughts, would be most appreciative.

Thanks, and stay well,
Bob

Have you checked to see if there is an updated driver for the printer? If no updated driver is available, try removing the printer and installing it again.

Even that may not help unless you can find all instances of the printer settings that are located on your drive. There's probably some setting that's messed up.

Trying to find all the Brother printer files might require the use of an app that does a better job than Spotlight.

You can download "Find Any File" or "EasyFind". Both will work to find just about anything.
