I installed Boom 2 into my imac and though the sound is great now, there is a problem with a delay now. I listen to music video's there is a delay, the video and the audio. Also have the problem while using Facetime the audio is real choppy. Had to turn it off and then everything was fine. Can this problem be fixed or do I just turn it off. Thanks for any help

I'm guessing that this is a consequence of Boom acting as an intermediary between the software and the hardware. As such, there may not be much you can do about this and instead, this is an issue that the developers have to resolve.

The easiest solution here is to simply use a set of speakers or headphones to overcome the limitations of Apple's continued inclusion of substandard speakers in their machine (to this day, while remaining very happy with the quality of my Mac, I'm still astonished that someone thought that the sound system on Macs were good).
