Bluetooth Mouse suddenly having problems

For some inexplicable reason my BT Mouse is extremely intermittent. BT keypad and speakers are fine. The only way I can get the mouse to work is if I trash the plist files and reboot my mac. Anyone come across this problem? I have a MBP 2013, M3 Pro chip running the latest software update (15.5). Thank you

How old is your BT Mouse and have you tried a different source for charging it or have you replace the batteries if they are even replaceable?

Does it still do goofy things when you boot up into safe boot mode?

Have you added a new LED or fluorescent lamp fixture near your computer and mouse recently, or any device that could cause problems, such as a motor (small refrigerator) or a microwave oven, recently?
