Hi all,

Quick question about Bluetooth on my Powerbook 5,6 (running latest OS X).

I should state that I am a recent convert so I am not necessarily in full possession of the normal troubleshooting steps :)

The Bluetooth just doesn't work. I have it turned on, set to discoverable, but it will not detect any devices.

When searching for devices to pair with it says "An error occurred trying to perform the search." I have exhausted my little knowledge of OS X, Google and am getting nowhere. Is there anywhere else I should be looking a bit deeper under the hood? I should state this is a work laptop and I am not it's first user (although I have a new account).

Thanks,

OYGBYNGB :)

Oddly, a restart seems to have solved that problem and devices are now being detected.

However, unfortunately when trying to add the device to iSync, the iSync app keeps quitting unexpectedly...
