Bloating batteries???

I just saw an article on Engadget about some kind of problem with the batteries of 17" Macbook Pros. Apparently some of the batteries are swelling, or bloating out, while charging! There was a picture of it and several replies from people who claim their batteries have done the same thing.

Has anyone here had or seen this problem? Has it happened with the 15" MBP batteries?

The bulging battery syndrome isn't restricted to the 17", I don't think. I haven't seen screen sizes with every mention of the battery issue, but I think it's a MBP battery issue rather than pertaining to either particular model.
