hi,
this is my first question so, go easy on me lol

so i have an ibook g4 and i use bittorrent for torrent downloading.
when i download something straight to my 320GB external hard drive it comes up whit this error "No space left on disk, or cannot creat file that large."
i have no idea why because there is still 175GB free on the external drive.

Thanks in advance Leo

Not sure exactly why it does that, but I think an easy work-around would just be to save it to your internal hd and then just transfer it when it's done? I know I had to do that with mine also.

Move some stuff to the external, download to the internal, swap it around?

Yeah, it's probably to do with the file size and the formatting of the external... I seem to remember one format (maybe FAT32?) doesn't like files larger than a certain size... which I've forgotten.

Sorry that was all so vague.

i think i know what is goin on, i think i need to refromat it because FAT32 is a windows based file system.
i have a friend who can talk me through it.
