Something about the maximum cost your are willing to spend
Have you arrived at any specific soundbars in your own researches?

Also what are your sound bar requirements, i.e. minimum specification, separate subwoofer, wifi, etc, it's a huge market out there. Which if any have you already ruled out (and why), and do you have short list.

Are you literally only interested in a "soundbar" or will any computer speaker system work for you?

Does it need to be portable, or is it only for your desktop?

It is only for sound, or are you planning on using it as a primary source for listening to music?

What is your budget?

I just purchased a budget set of desktop speakers for an iMac of mine. They were about $80 and I'm enjoying them. I can also recommend something almost as good in the $60 range, and something quite a bit better for about twice the price. But these are all powered desktop speaker setups that are not at all portable. So I need to know what you are looking for exactly.
