Best Gpu for mac pro 1.1

Nick brings up a point we used to see a LOT of with that model Mac Pro back when I was doing tech -- overloaded power supplies.

For casual games, you don't need a "beast" card, and as noted it may tax that old machine. I'd shoot for a solid, highly-rated midrange card for that type of use.

Yes, a Mac Pro pulls just a bit of power. ;) I never really measured it but I might do that tomorrow. I have a watt-meter I can put on it. I did have to purchase a separate 1500VA/900 Watts UPS for it. I had a 1500VA/900 Watts UPS system on my Windows PC and it is a really beefy machine. I plugged the Mac Pro into it and all was fine until I cranked her up and had her working. If I had both working hard the UPS would just flake out so I would have to regulate my work load until I got the second unit.
