I feel your pain and frustration with the numbness in your fingers as I suffer the similar condition in both my hands and fingers then they seem to be getting worse with my increasing age, now at 84.

Legs and feet are completely numb as well but a four-wheel Walker allows me to be mobile and get around even if somewhat limited.

We could be twins! My feet and leg below my knee are numb. My fingers started about a year or so ago. Left hand worse then right hand for numbness, but right hand doesn't have the grip due to sharp pain between the thumb and index finger. Doc says it starts in my wrist. Type 2 Diabetes.
I also use a DRIVE walker.Got one in the house and one in the garage when I go out. My daughter takes me to Dr appointments although my niece is taking me Weds. My 77 year old wife will only drive to Costco or to a grocery store. Whenever I do that I have her get me a shopping cart, in lieu of my walker (which I leave at home. As long as I have something with wheels to hold on to...on a level surface...I'm good.
I'm 81. With my daughte, we always eat after my drs appointmen. tWith my niece, prior to shopping.

Well, our health conditions are certainly similar but according to my doctor, mine are not diabetes related. My great wife acts as my house-nurse and Driver along with all the other chores she does.

And I am so grateful that she does.
