Backup photos

Your Mac's Specs
MacBookPro early 2012running Mavericks,MacMini Core i7 running Mavericks: iPhone 4s, iPad 3rd Gen
I have all my photographs on an external USB drive and would like a backup of this drive on an other external USB drive. I want to leave time machine as it is, backing up my Mac drive. Any suggestions welcome

Well, a "free" way to do that is just to select all the folders in which these pictures exist, then Copy them to the other drive. Or you can pay for Carbon Copy Cloner or SuperDuper! and set up an automated process to do that on a regular schedule for you. Either way, it may take a while, depending on the number of pictures and speed of the USB interface.
