Hi,
I just got a MacBook Pro, which I understand is excellent with video editing. I was a little disappointed that the default program iMovie can't host AVI format files, and I am on a very tight schedule to get a project done which requires I splice a video up. I know it can host MPEG4, though, and I'd really like a freeware program for Mac that can do this. Can someone please recommend one?
As a starving student who just splurged on a MacBook Pro, I can't afford the $30 most of these companies are asking for the products, I'm afraid, and am hoping there's a great free one out there as well. Even a PC one would do, as I have an aging (but still functional laptop) lying around.
Cheers!
