Just doing a bit of Spring cleaning in preparation for the forthcoming Sonoma release and came across, Macintosh HD/Library/Automator.

I understand what the app is for and, to my knowledge I have never used it, but the Automator folder contains 95 ‘Action’ items in relation to Microsoft Office apps amounting to 25mb. All the Actions are dated February 2014 and, presumably, were installed with my original version of Microsoft Office.

Microsoft Office was uninstalled several months ago, since when I have been using the Apple apps.

I’m not short of space but can I safely empty this Automator folder?

I'm sure if you ever needed any of those scripts they would be recreated on installing MS Office components again.

Thanks for your response. I have no plans to return to MS Office so they can all go.
