I was wondering if there is a way to make my powerbook connect to the internet automatically when it starts up? I have DSL and am using AirPort. With my old iMac it would just be connected when i started up...now, with AirPort I have to go to the little menu bar icon and click the network i want to join and then wait for it to connect. And sometimes the name of my network isnt even listed and i have to reset the base station. Anything i can do to fix this?

I had that problem for a little while and then it just kinda went away. I'm not sure how or why, I just tried setting my airport up a few times and alakzam it worked just try going through that process a few times it might do something different. It also gives you two choices to connect to a new airport or connect to existing, try them both. I know this sounds silly but for some reason it worked for me. I can't really explain, but now it works like a charm always connected.
