The thing that bothers me about articles like this is they never seem to pay any attention to the effect of such a close approach to the Earth (and potentially even closer to the Moon) on the Asteroid's trajectory.

The orbit has to change (even a little). So will that increase or decrease the likelihood of future Earth impact?

Asteroid 2005 YU55 will zip by Earth next week

Only 202,000 THOUSAND miles away...lol. At 1300ft wide, I'm assuming that spotting it in the sky will be similar to spotting an ant a ~2.5 miles away with the naked eye.
