here is my set up:
Mac Mini with 150gig i-Tunes library(stored externally on Iomega 500Gig HDD) in the bedroom, living room with Airport Extreme , Apple TV and Gigabit ethernet switch.
I currently stream all music and movies wirelessly to my ATv but have lately found it slow (rewinding movies etc) and i get breaks when listening to music. Plus ATV regularly drops out of connection with the mac mini. Is this the best way to do this, can someone suggest a better way?? A wired connection from the mac mini to the ATV is possible, but when ever i connect the ATV to the network it stops working.
Should I connect the mac mini directly to the ATV or can they both connect to the switch (which is connected to the AExtreme this would give me faster web browsing to so is a preference)?
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
