Mac Studio M1 Max 2022 32 Gb RAM, 512 Gb SSD; MacBook Pro 14" 2021 M1 Pro Both on Ventura 13.1
I haven't used my apple tv for a while. Now I am trying to pair it with my iphone (13 mini, 18.4) and get it to register my MBP (M1 pro, 15.3.2). I can't get either to be detected by the apple tv. Is it compatible with modern devices? Airplay will work with my MBP.

Grateful for any suggestions.

You don't pair the ATV with anything, it should show up as an AirPlay device when you are looking to streaming from other Apple devices.

What exactly are you doing?
