In less than a year's time, it will be 2 decades since Apple revealed Macintosh to the world. The famous 1984 commercial was aired for the first time during that January's Superbowl. This coming January will mark the 20th anniversary of that introduction.
Recently, we have learned that Apple is gearing up to launch another advertisement during the January 2004 Superbowl. The content of the ad will not be disclosed for some time, however we do know that Apple has already informed their [then and now] ad agency, Chiat Day, that it must be just as impactful as the 1984 ad. As we retrieve more information, we will bring it to you. There's still nearly a year until anything major develops, but we thought you'd like to know that something is in the works.
