Apple releases new iPod software for Panther
October 24, 2003 - 17:38 EDT Apple has released iPod Software 1.3.1, which improves compatibility between Mac OS X 10.3 Panther and iPods without dock connectors. According to Apple: "If your iPod requires updating, the iPod Software Updater will run and allow you to install iPod Software 1.3.1 the next time you plug in your iPod and iTunes is launched." The new version is available via the Mac OS X Software Update preference pane.
