apple care pretty darn good

had a few problems with my macbook:
screen flickering
static noise when coming on from sleep
track button clickery, sometimes sticks to the bottom feels like smething on the bottom is broken
battery not charging and not recognizing

brought it in, genius just gave me a new battery, new logicboard + processor and heatsink, new board inverter, and new housing, topcase and keyboard

pretty much replaced the whole computer, for FREE
i love it
but only bad part is the turn around time is 10 days, using my old dell... ahhh i miss my baby

apple has always made me happy and done a good job when it comes to fixing something under warranty.. I have had speakers/fans/keyboards replaced with no cost to me.

I had good luck with Applecare. It's expired now on my PowerBookG4.

The only thing is I keep hearing that Apple is or has already outsourced their support to India. If that is the case short of bringing the computer to the Genius Bar to have it taken care of I fear talking through problems on the phone will be more than difficult.
