You would have better luck posting Photography related subjects in Images, Graphics Design and Digital Photography Section.. of the forums..

But yes, actually just of Lightroom 5.7, it can now import from Aperture and iPhoto into your Lr library..

I however can't comment on the process in which you do this as I don't have Aperture or iPhoto installed.. I only use Lightroom.
