I'm trying to restore my iPhone 5 to factory settings running 7.0.4 but it wont let me. I have my 7.0.4 ipsw file and the shsh blobs but iTunes wont let me restore. I know apple stopped signing 7.0.4 a couple of weeks ago, but I thought if you had your shsh blobs saved you are able to bypass this.

Any tips?

Downgrading isn't that simple. You not only need the SHSH blob, but need the jailbreak software to facilitate this; a specific version of iTunes; and be on a version of iOS that the software supports downgrading from. I did a little reading around and you can downgrade from iOS 7.1 to 7.0.4, but I'm not sure about later than 7.1. You didn't say what version you are currently running.
