Hi all,
Ok, I TRIED one day to use the app store, some silly game app, as usual that failed but I neglected to log myself out.
So Apple, in it's infinite growing ignorance, just arbitrarily upgraded my itunes without my consent, approval, or even knowledge when they did it.
I now have 12.7.4 which I DID NOT WANT AND WOULD NOT HAVE AGREED TO.
Before I even realized they did this, I popped in my ipod nano, 7th gen and added a few songs to a playlist.
Ever since then every single radio (And I bought THREE specifically to play my ipods on) just pops up a note "unrecognized device" and I can't play anything.
Oh it works on my headphones ok, and I just ordered a cable so at least I can (hopefully) use my radios that way,
just wondering if there is any way to fix this?
I do have another mac that has NOT been upgraded, I could always just use it from now on to load my pods.
(I have two, the other is 6th gen and the power button is broke so getting to a list is a royal pain. I typically just put it in, pick a list and let it play. I like the 7th gen better, bigger power button. So far hasn't broke except for this.)
I'd like to ring someones neck at apple for doing this without so much as a note. They always did in the past, "new upgrade, get it now, or no" something like that. Seems every time itunes gets UP graded, it's really a DOWN grade. Harder to use, harder to organize. (I HATE this version.)
Apple already told me there is no going back to a previous version. But I don't totally believe that. If there is a way to back up to the version before they fouled up ipods, please post a link.
Or if there is a way to fix the ipods so they play just plugging them in like they did before, even better.
(CURSE you apple )
